FUNCHAL EN FLEURS

The azulejos are a typical form of Portugese Spanish painted, tin-glazed, ceramic tilework The word azulejo is derived from theArabic word: (al zulaycha) :Zellige, meaning "polished stone".

I saw, last year, the streets of the towns of Andalusia also bordered of blue trees and it is on the aircraft for Madeira that I discovered the name on a review: Jacarandas.

To reassure the friends of Peter, here my Graziella friend, who seems to have misused the Madeira wine, the black paving stones of Funchal and the blue trees: the jacarandas, without forgetting the azulejos!
